I try and write an article at least once a week, but today I am struggling for inspiration.

What can I write that will help people see the benefits of process mapping from a different angle?

There can only be one answer…what if Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction wanted to incorporate process mapping into their ‘business’….

Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are sitting in a dimly-lit diner, nursing their coffee. Vincent, looking serious, turns to Jules.

Vincent: “Hey, Jules. You ever heard of process mapping?”

Jules: “Yeah, I have. What’s got you thinking about that?”

Vincent: “I’ve been thinking. Maybe we could apply it to our line of work. You know, like how we plan our hits and get shit done.”

Jules: “Ah, I see where you’re going with this. Process mapping can be helpful in identifying the weak spots in a hit.”

Vincent nods, eager to hear more.

Jules: “It can help us see where we’re losing time or where we might be making mistakes. We could map out the whole process, from planning to execution, and find ways to streamline it. Make it more efficient.”

Vincent: “Yeah, that makes sense. And it could help us work better as a team, too.”

Jules: “Exactly. When everyone knows their role in the hit and the process is clear, there’s less room for mistakes or misunderstandings.”

Vincent: “So process mapping could make us better hitmen. More precise. More deadly.”

Jules: “Damn right, Vincent. It’s always good to be thinking about ways to improve our craft.”

Vincent nods, sipping his coffee thoughtfully. He can already see the benefits of process mapping. With Jules by his side, there’s no telling how much deadlier they could become.

You might not be a hitman, but process mapping and improvement can almost certainly help your business achieve its goals. Get in touch to find out how ….
